and on th job front JC has not yet secured his job permanently...he says that nothings clear as yet...i have heard he has paid Rs 3 lac for the job!!!


and biswadev is going to varanasi to face the final round of his interview...he got selected in the written round of his air force interview...i wish he gets the job...that will be an impetus to me.

with all the gang around and the crazy hydro-carbon formula in the veins, everythings a treat!!!
we went pandal hopping once again and it was better...with people piling onto the streets in spite of the threat of bomb explosions....there were army manning all over the major puja pandals like the marwari juba mancha, the pandals on the LB road.....but then as i have said people piled onto the roads...and it was fun getting stepped on the foot...i got sores on my toes.

so after pandal hopping from ganesh ghat to porua charali we we were tired beyond the word 'exhausted' can explain...we all went to bahu's room...as we usually do, brought 1kg broiler meat and more hydro-carbons and got on with the night......

discussions were beyond the scope of friendly discussions...ifti and raju were on fire discussing their entagled triangular love affairs.....me, bahu, hila were mediators...but it was nice to listen the speak about such complicated matters with so frankness.....i am sure i would have missed a lot had i not come home this time round.

DURGA PUJA AS I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN IT !!!

durga puja has never been anything spiritual for me...even remotely.

i came home to my friends and as usual we went out pandal hopping all over the place, doing crazy things and inviting awkward glances from bystanders and fellow spiritual people...who were as spiritual as we were!!!


the one at the extreme right of the picture is iftikar, who didnot rest until he laid his hands on the green gun...it cost 15 Rs, and 10 Rs from my pocket.

he was looking for a steel body gun(thats shinny and looks like made of steel), he even wanted to snatch from a small boy!!!

I have no picture as evidence but to people accustomed with ifti's nature...evidence doesnt matter.

this picture wa clicked when we were done for the night...and departing & planning for an even better evening the next day. we missed neal a lot...particularly ifti was very vocal about his displeasure....nilo...u know what to expect when u come next time here.
